If you are interested in a private reading with John Edward, you must register for the free eNewsletter and check the private reading interest box. By doing this you will be placed in a queue for a private appointment. When private appointments are made available via the phone or in person you will be notified in the order you registered. Please note that registration does not guarantee you an actual appointment. There will be no official waiting list, just an "INTEREST LIST." We will try to provide you with up to four weeks notice before a potential appointment. If you are unable to make that window, you will have to re-register your interest in a private session again and you will be placed at the end of the que. This will be done to keep it fair as so many people express interest in private readings. If you want something more immediate, please review the events page.

It is not uncommon for people to "find" things that they didn't even know they were looking for. The Universe will often put people and issues in our path to enable us to learn and EVOLVE through our journey here. Many people will think they were led here, to this site, or to me, because they are in need of a reading. For many, that is the case. For others, I believe you were led here to learn. It might be to attend a seminar or group, it might be to hear a soul song, it might be for a referral, or it might be to tap into your own abilities...Ultimately, my goal is to empower, educate, enlighten, entertain, and to help you EVOLVE.

One of the things that I want to be really clear about is how important I feel it is to strive to learn more about your own potentials. But PLEASE DON'T mistake your desire to learn more as a CALLING to "do readings." I encourage people to learn all about metaphysics and parapsychology (psychic stuff) so they can live a more empowered and intuitive life. The level of responsibility, learning, and ethics that go into doing this work for another individual is absolutely, and enormously HUGE.

I want to scream when people call or e-mail me and tell me that either they or one of their relatives are having these amazing psychic experiences...and in the same breath tell me that they are DOING READINGS for other people! WHAT? To me that is like watching Grey's Anatomy and then attempting to perform a life saving surgery. Get the idea?

I find it sad when I hear people who have had some unique connections with their loved ones or intuitive moments, now mistakenly see that as they are a medium. I go into how to develop that sense of urgent understanding in the book INFINITE QUEST. But for those of you who have no idea what to do and where to go, here is my philosophy...go to the bookstore and allow the book to PICK you. Trust your instincts and start to learn. Any true psychic recognizes IMMEDIATELY HOW MUCH THEY DON'T KNOW and will continue to learn.

This is the part that makes me laugh as many people will stumble on this site or my work and not realize that they "were" led...but will say they are just "curious" - whatever you want to call it, I AM OK with that.
