Good Morning,
Is there anyone who is interested in discussing some of the concepts from "Project You" ? I know some of you said you have already taken the course, would you be interested in revisiting the concepts. I am taking the course on HayHouse now. If so, is it appropriate to just start a thread here or should it be done in the blog section of Evolve?
I am currently taking the course just to connect at a deeper level with my intuition and develop spiritually. I would love to discuss with anyone interested
Thanks,
LIndalee

Oh good…even if it is just you and me it is a start! So let’s start with where we are with the program. I started about two weeks ago and I just finished Lesson 5. I plan to revisit all of it once I am finished. I also just noticed that there are bonus lessons at the end.
I have almost always had a morning routine of journal writing and setting my intention for the day. It usually involves watching or reading something motivational, like a TED talk and last year I added a short yoga practice ( really short…12 minute video) So anyway, this program easily plugs in to my routine….it is my motivational viewing. My main reason for taking the course is to connect more deeply to my intuition and grow spiritually. I really have no desire to ever read another person. I just want to connect deeper to life in general.
So, why are you here? Do you have some sort of daily routine or ritual? I plan to check in here each morning and will post.
Looking forward to traveling through this with you,
Lindalee

Honestly, I’m not the most organized person so that is why I HAVE to be disciplined…it is a coping mechanism. I also wake up ridiculously early so It is easy to dedicate that time to introspection.

I retired as a school teacher a few years back and took advantage of the “free” time to delve into all things creative. I love photography and do a bit of it as a small business. Last year I decided that I would learn to paint and it has become a passion. I find that when I get in that creative space in my head I am connected intuitively to something greater…and when I am connected intuitively I love what appears on the canvas. I spent last year grounded and focused on learning the basics.…the skills and techniques but I am now feeling a pull to explore art intuitively. The course just came along at the right time. It popped up as an email and felt right so I signed up and rejoined Evolve.

So, do you have a solid meditation practice? That is something I’m never quite sure about. I write every morning which actually clears my mind a bit better than the sitting quietly thing does. The short yoga practice I do in the morning ends with a meditation and I’ve added a meditation time in the evening recently..and by recently I mean two days ago. But I find I need the support of a guided meditation. What works for you?

I am just coming across this area of the website.....I am still learning to navigate and did not know it was here. I also took the course and loved it. I have made it a part of my routine ......I also struggle with routine . Really no reason for it. I do meditate daily and very much agree that the meditation can be in so many ways. I usually use the meditations that are on the Evolve sight to start my day.
I am retired and work a part time job early in the mornings. I will get back on this sight later and will see if I even posted this in the appropriate place.
I very much would like to be part of a discussion about Project You. I took it when it was first out and have went back to review it on many occasions I do have some questions that you both may have some opinions about.

Good Morning! Now a group of three... yay! I think posting here is fine to start. Maybe as we get larger we can post in the blog area..but this should do for now. There is so much to discuss and unpack from the course.

As creative people I think we tend to naturally struggle with routine, But for me that is why I have to have it. I learned that lesson a long time ago as a first grade school teacher. I loved being the "out of the box" teacher but if I didn't follow a schedule my class might not make it to lunch. So I do have certain routines that I commit to. My morning routine is critical to my day. It is when I feel most connected to spirit. It helps that I naturally get up early and have space to myself and that time before the sun rises is kind of magical. is there a time of day you can carve out commit to the course? Maybe for you it is evening or afternoon,

I will look on this site for the guided meditations. I just recently found the bonus piece of the course and I like the guided breathing. I feel most connected when I am writing in my journal, it has been a life long friend. I might be getting hung up on the meaning of meditation, but I do want to add a more structured quieting of the mind.

Okay, so glad to have you to chat with. Grandkids are here with me for the long weekend
Enjoy the day,
Lindalee

Just a short bio on me. I am a very happy wife...mother...and .Grandma (Mimi) . I am retired from a small business my husband and I owned for 20 and continue to help the current owners a few hours in the early mornings. I get so much more accomplished with a schedule...for that reason I don't look to stop working . The current owners give me complete flexibly.

I love electronics, reading, cooking and learning all I can Metaphysically. Many years ago my husband and I were put in a situation to challenge what we thought we knew. I have been passionate since then to learn all I could. That is pretty much the mini version of how I got here. I have been an evolve member for maybe 5 years....not sure but it has been a while. I do go to see John when he is in the area........makes for a great girls trip. I did first see the course Project You on this website and decided to take it at that time. I go back and review it from time to time.

Since Lindalee just completed section 5 I did go back over that section. I am so glad to have a couple of people to discuss a few things with regarding this course. I try to be very aware of the people and energy I am around. I am a Pieces and have a tendency to be very abrupt ...... so I have tried to be very thoughtful of my words when I am around people that are not necessarily coming from the best of places.. I try to put myself in the best place with my energy......where I struggle ......I don't have to say something for the people around me to feel my aggravation. This I struggle with. The course has made me think through a lot and I pay much more attention to my words and reactions......but I still have a lot of work to do. We still have different groups of people we run with and when one is completely not evolved I still have to find what I need in me to maintain the friendship with the rest of the group.

Look forward to revisiting the course and discussing your opinions.

Good Morning,
Peachy, I like what you said about awareness. That is what courses like this do for me. It isn’t so much about being positive as it is about being conscious, authentic and aware of your intentions. John talked a bit about just honoring who you are naturally, the piece of you that is just in your DNA…not everyone is Pollyanna…thank goodness.

I’m eager to hear how your little experiment went KTMOLLOY? I’m pretty sure if everyone only said what needed to be said things would be pretty quiet. LOL!
Have a good Sunday!

KTMOLLOY......I am sure this will be most interesting. I am sure if I was that quiet everyone would think I was upset with something. Still I think it would be interesting to try.

Lindalee.....being conscious and paying attention to my intentions is key for me. I am not interesting in trying to read for anyone. I have really tried to work with some of the tools that you will learn about in part 6 of the series. I am fascinated with numerology and the astrology. The numerology seems to be easier for me to wrap my head around. The astrology is fascinating but so layered with so much information.......... I like to look at the numbers and then the natal chart.

KT did you work with any of the tools when you took the course? If you don't mind me asking where are you from? I know Lindalee mentioned Florida......I am from Indiana.

Good Morning,
I am a couple of lessons into part 6. Part of my morning ritual involves pulling a card from a deck that I have on my desk as I set the tone for the day. I think that they are a natural fit for me. There is always meaning in them....sometimes not exactly what I want but always what I need. I'm interested in Astrology but have a good friend who is an astrologer., So I let her do all the figuring out for me. I'm coming up on my birthday this week, and will meet with her. She tells me that it is a big one...58 my second Saturn return.!
Enjoy the day! It is actually a little chilly in Florida...65ish this morning...BRRRRR

Hi Ladies
I started a new thread with a post called Project YOU, TCMC. so I wouldn't have to keep scrolling to the bottom of this one. Lazy I know..but every second counts. Anyway...lets continue there and as we change topics start new threads.
Lindalee.
